Middle Creek High School offers two band classes that run all year – symphonic band and wind ensembles. These band classes perform at school concerts throughout the year and have opportunities to work with area professionals and guests from area colleges. Both band classes also enter a district contest each spring. Many opportunities are presented to broaden their education and interest in music. To be a member of marching band, winter percussion, or jazz ensemble, you must be enrolled in one of these band classes.
Students who are interested in auditioning into winds ensemble/honors level band class will need to complete a recorded audition submitted to Page Newsome, Director of Bands. Please email Mr. Newsome for more information – or ask your middle school band director.
